OHIO has allowed KIDTEST.COM SM to
put online, practice tests questions for the benefit
of OHIO's students. These tests from OHIO's Proficiency Test Program, can
be accessed from the KIDTEST.COM SM test inventory and then taken online by using the latest
in Internet testing technology.
These OHIO tests have been created in accordance with testing standards approved by the OHIO Department of Education.
The sixth grade test in Science has 17 questions. This test is appropriate for those in the final
months of sixth grade and in seventh and eighth grade.
SCIENCE
- Use a simple key to classify objects, organisms, and/or phenomena.
- Identify the potential hazards and/or precautions involved in scientific investigations.
- Make inferences from observations of phenomena and/or events.

- Identify characteristics and/or patterns in rocks and soil.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the cycling of resources on earth, such as carbon, nitrogen, and/or water.
- Trace the transmission of energy in a small, simple ecosystem and/or identify the roles of organisms in the energy movement in an ecosystem.
- Compare and/or contrast the diversity of ways in which living things meet their needs.
- Analyze behaviors and/or activities that positively or negatively influence human health.
- Analyze the impacts of human activity on the ecosystems of the earth.
