Sample State Test

Test Instructions for Students and Parents

Please read and understand the following items:

This is a sample test.

1. If necessary, you may ask another person to help you adjust your computer so that you can read the screen, use the mouse and keyboard.
2. If you do not know the answer to a question, please guess. If you are able to eliminate any of the choices, you will increase the odds of getting the correct answer by guessing from the remaining choices.
3. To choose an answer, click the circle next to your choice. Once you click on the circle, it will darken.
4. If you have questions about test directions, ask another person (like a parent) for help.
5. However, do not ask another person for any help or answers on the exams. Take the exam yourself.
6. In some circumstances, some students will require and routinely receive assistance in taking tests. In these cases, the usual assistance is appropriate.

The sample test has 4 questions and is timed at 30 minutes .
